As settings, he chooses famous sights of Paris as for example the "Eiffel Tower" nearby the Seine or "Moulin Rouge", the well-known cabaret in the district Pigalle. Most of the time, however, he is painting scenes from Montmartre like the hustle and bustle on the "Place du Tertre" and the monumental white basilica "Sacré Coeur".
